On my playlist

Been listening to a lot of vinyl lately and loving Leon Bridges, Teskey Brothers and The Black Keys.

Binge watching

I love a great series and have a habit of watching multiple shows at the same time, but anything that’s based on real life events gets me hooked every time.

Book I’m reading

I’m never quite able to read a full book and my family will vouch for this but I have attempted a fair share over the past year. The one I did finish was The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music by Dave Grohl which was a cracker.

Favourite restaurant/cafe

I have too many to mention and coming from a European background food is in my genes. I really enjoy Restaurant Santino and my regulars are Cafe Lechappe and The Hungry Monkey in Berry.

On my bucket list

To see where my parents and grandparents grew up in Europe one day. Donate more time to helping people without a home or a safe place to sleep.

I decided to work in Real Estate because

It’s one of the most rewarding experiences being able to help people in stressful situations. I genuinely LOVE what I do and am blessed to have amazing people around me each day who are equally passionate and driven to be better.

My perfect Sunday looks like

It’s always a sacred family day! Sleeping in and not having any plans, just going with where our moods take us is the BEST... Start the day with a good coffee, followed by a nice country drive down the coast or up to the Southern Highlands for a day trip.

Top local spot

I love the South Coast, it’s so pretty and a slower pace of life than the city. Honestly I love nothing more than being at home, it sounds boring but I really don't get to spend much time at home, so it's always my top spot.

Laila Henshaw

Depending on how I’m feeling I’ll listen to different types of music, but at the moment my playlist has a lot of Little Dragon, Boy and bear, Sampa The Great, Running Touch, Toro y Moi.

Book I’m reading

To be honest I don’t read too much, I like to read online articles sometimes and listen to podcasts from time to time, BUT one of my friends just gave me a book called ‘What a time to be Alone’ by Chidera Eggerue about self-improvement and self-love that I’m really enjoying.

Top local spot

There’s a beautiful spot on the coastal track off the cliff at Otford with amazing views, but anywhere surrounded by greenery or near a beach is perfect for me.

Favourite restaurant/cafe

I love Babyface Kitchen, Rookie Eatery, Sakuri Sushi. My favourite café was Son of a Gun, unfortunately just closed, but close second would be Quay Canteen.

My perfect Sunday looks like

Going for a brunch/coffee in the sunshine, visiting my family and a couple of afternoon drinks with friends.

On my bucket list

I cannot wait to visit Japan, I love how quirky it seems and the food would be incredible! I graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work a few years ago and would love to complete my Masters/ PHD, eventually!

I decided to work in Real Estate because

I enjoy meeting different people and helping people, I also love to be challenged, enjoy a fast paced work environment and being able to be out of the office is a bonus!

I am still stuck in the 90’s and love a good “old school song”, whether it be pop or rock as long as it’s from the 90’s it’s on my playlist. Also, since I was born in Europe, I do tend to listen to some Balkan music from time to time.

Binge watching

At the moment I am really enjoying the series Loudermilk on Netflix, otherwise any form of true crime or drama series is my go-to.

Book I’m reading

Again, I am big on anything non-fiction or true crime. The last book I put down was 'A Child Called “It”', it is a harrowing, yet inspiring true story of a young boy’s childhood.

Top local spot

As long as I’m outdoors with the family, whether it be at the beach or in a park is all that matters but a standout is most definitely Murrays Beach.

So many magic spots around the Illawarra, we are absolutely spoilt. Loved spending time at Bombo beach over the Xmas break, but my favourite spot is at home.

My perfect Sunday looks like

Lazy Sunday’s at home with a long breakfast, music and sunshine. Dinner or drinks in the evening with some friends, and that’s the perfect end to the week.

I decided to work in Real Estate because

I love that no two days are exactly the same. I enjoy meeting people and hearing their stories, plus I am obsessed with design and styling. I am lucky that I get to embrace the different aspects of what I love and channel that into the business. We really are lucky to help people move into the next chapter of their lives.

Book I’m reading

If I’m being totally honest. I haven’t read a book since I’ve finished high school. But I do enjoy a good podcast. Chris Williamson's Modern Wisdom, explores life lessons and self-discovery through discussions with a wide range of professionals in various industries, is one of my favorites. Also, Steven Bartlett's Diary of a CEO is incredible, he interviews some of the most influential people from athletes, celebrities to business leaders in a wide range of topics, including business, entrepreneurship, wellness, and everyday struggles.

I love Kneading Ruby. Everything about this place is perfect, and the food is excellent.

On my bucket list

Going to a world cup with my best mates is at the very top of my bucket list, we use to talk about it when we were in high school. As a lifelong football fan, experiencing a world cup is my ultimate dream. I spent sixteen years playing football. So, it’s a must for me to go to a world cup in a foreign country. I'd also love to visit Europe and take in the way of life there. But that's something I can wait for.

I decided to work in real estate because

I decided to work in real estate because from at a young age I found my passion for real estate, from watching Ryan Serhant’s YouTube videos. Helping people has always been a passion of mine. And if I can be a part of someone’s story through such a stressful process is my dream. I love what I do, and this is only just the start of it.

My perfect Sunday looks like

After a busy week, I find that sleeping in on Sundays is so important. I enjoy going for walks in the sun around Wollongong Harbour and, to cool off, I always go for a swim. It's a must for me to relax every Sunday by doing an ice bath and sauna.

I love walking along the blue mile in Wollongong, if it’s a been a busy day or a Sunday. Going for a nice walk is great way for me relax and get my mind off things. Or going to the beach with my mates is the best.
