On my playlist

It’s an eclectic mix of old time favourites like Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC and the Stones thru to newbies like the Teskey Brothers, Ocean Alley and Winston Surfshirt.

Binge watching

I love a great series and have a habit of watching multiple shows at the same time, but anything that’s based on real life events gets me hooked every time. I’m currently watching Chernobyl and Black Mirror as well as Making a Murderer and then mixing in some Queer Eye for the straight guy.

Book I’m reading

I’m never quite able to read a full book and my family will vouch for this but I have attempted a fair share over the past year including Jimmy Barnes - Working Class Boy, Stephen Hawking - Brief answers to the big questions and Stuart Coupe - Roadies the secret history of Australian Rock‘n’Roll

Favourite restaurant/cafe

I have too many to mention and coming from a European background food is in my genes. Kneading Ruby, Crooked River Winery and the German Club are all in my Top “Go To” spots for all different reasons and my fav Cafes would be Minnamurra Cafe, Kiss & Drop and Cordeaux Caffeine.

On my bucket list

To see where my parents and grandparents grew up in Europe, one day. I’d love to actually finish a book from cover to cover without picking up another. Donate more time to helping people without a home, or safe place to sleep.

I decided to work in Real Estate because

It’s one of the most rewarding experiences being able to help people in stressful situations. I genuinely LOVE what I do and am blessed to have amazing people around me each day who are equally passionate and driven to be better.

My perfect Sunday looks like

It’s always a sacred Family Day! Sleeping in and not having any plans for the day, just going with where our moods take us is the BEST... Start the day with a good coffee, followed by a nice country drive down the coast or up to the Southern Highlands for a day trip.

Top local spot

I love the South Coast, it’s so pretty and a slower pace of life than the city. Honestly I love nothing more than being at home, it sounds boring but I really don't get to spend much time at home, so it's always my top spot.

On my playlist

Depending on how I’m feeling I’ll listen to different types of music, but at the moment my playlist has a lot of Little Dragon, Boy and bear, Sampa The Great, Running Touch, Toro y Moi.

Binge watching

Can never watch just 1! I’m currently in the middle of watching The Handmaids Tale but usually I’ll watch anything Sci-fi. Loving Black Mirror at the moment, and also a German sci-fi thriller called ‘Dark’ about time travel.

Book I’m reading

To be honest I don’t read too much, I like to read online articles sometimes and listen to podcasts from time to time, BUT one of my friends just gave me a book called ‘What a time to be Alone’ by Chidera Eggerue about self-improvement and self-love that I’m really enjoying.

Top local spot

There’s a beautiful spot on the coastal track off the cliff at Otford with amazing views, but anywhere surrounded by greenery or near a beach is perfect for me.

Favourite restaurant/cafe

I love Babyface Kitchen, Rookie Eatery, Sakuri Sushi. My favourite café was Son of a Gun, unfortunately just closed, but close second would be Quay Canteen.

My perfect Sunday looks like

Going for a brunch/coffee in the sunshine, visiting my family and a couple of afternoon drinks with friends.

On my bucket list

I cannot wait to visit Japan, I love how quirky it seems and the food would be incredible! I graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work a few years ago and would love to complete my Masters/ PHD, eventually!

I decided to work in Real Estate because

I enjoy meeting different people and helping people, I also love to be challenged, enjoy a fast paced work environment and being able to be out of the office is a bonus!

Katie Jackson

Operations Manager

On my playlist

I love my Spotify playlist – it has Boyce Avenue, Ed Sheeran and lots of RnB.

Binge watching

Currently the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills & New York. I love reality TV more than I should 😊

Book I’m reading

I visited the library for the first time in years last weekend and now reading the new Jane Green. My favourite British author.

Top local spot

Killalea Beach (The Farm) & Wollongong Botanic Gardens are my current favourites!

Favourite restaurant/cafe

Kneading Ruby in Wollongong is my favourite restaurant & I love the Hungry Monkey in Kiama

My perfect Sunday looks like

Family & coffee time. Walking our puppy Charlie and it’s the best day to go for a drive or shopping.

I decided to work in Real Estate because

I love everything about the real estate process! It is an always changing industry and you get to meet the best people.

On my bucket list

New York is somewhere I really want to visit for New Years Eve and I would love to go to Hawaii for a family holiday.

Natalie Betschwar

Marketing Director

On my playlist

always a mixed bag. I will forever have a love for the 60’s/70’s, I love old school 90’s grunge. I sway from heavy rock to chilled out vibes depending on my mood.

Binge watching

Killing Eve. I was late to the party but have binged and caught up on the 2 season within days, I loved it!

Book I’m reading

I have a couple on the go at the moment but have been too busy to really commit, which kills me. One is Paulina Simmons “The Tiger Catcher” and the other is “12 Rules for Life” a hard one to read but is very thought provoking.

Top local spot

I love being by the ocean and the Farm at Killalea makes me feel like I’m miles away from everything.

My perfect Sunday looks like

a nice sleep in then a late breakfast out with my boys. I am a fan of an old school Sunday Drive and then a lazy afternoon reading or watching a movie together with a beautiful wine to top it off.

I decided to work in Real Estate because

I love that no two days are exactly the same. I enjoy meeting people and hearing their stories, plus I am obsessed with design and styling. I am lucky that I get to embrace the different aspects of myself and what I love and channel that into the business. We really are privileged to help people move into the next chapter of their lives.

On my bucket list

Europe! I went to Italy last year and loved every minute of it. I can’t wait to go back and I want to see everything. I have a best friend that I have promised to visit in London, so that will be my first stop.

Favourite restaurant/cafe

forever and always Kneading Ruby. I love everything about this place from the food to the staff, it’s always amazing.
